# 4.2. Create & manage sub accounts
### ⚙️ Create sub account
A sub-account must be created using an **email that has never been registered** on Hidemyacc. Click the **"Create a new sub-account"** button → fill in the required information (email, account name, password) → click **Create**.
The sub-account simply logs in with the created credentials and uses the profiles shared from the main account.

### ⚙️ Edit Sub account
* The main account can change the sub-account's **display name** and **password**.
* The sub-account can be deleted from the system; the system displays a confirmation warning before doing so.
### ⚙️ Convert Sub account into Share account
This feature lets the main account convert a Sub-account into a Share account, to be used independently and no longer dependent on the main account.
To do this, click this button. The system will ask you to confirm the information; click Confirm to complete the process.
**Notes:**
* After conversion, the Sub-account becomes an independent account and loses access to all profiles in the folders that were previously shared with it.
* The Share account must register for its own package to continue using Hidemyacc.
* If the package has not been renewed, the account will receive a notification prompting an upgrade upon login.
