13.2. FAQ

1. I accidentally deleted a profile — can I recover it?

Yes. You can restore a deleted profile. However, Hidemyacc's system automatically updates at 24:00 (midnight) each day, so you can only restore a profile within 24 hours after it was deleted. You can refer back to section 3.8. Restoring a Profile to learn how to use this feature.

2. How long / how many sessions can Profile History store at most?

Each profile stores up to 10 of the most recent working sessions (including cookies, browsing history, and bookmarks). Once this limit is exceeded, the oldest session is automatically deleted. This data is stored on the device you're currently using and is not synced to Hidemyacc's server. It can only be viewed when the profile is in the Ready state (not viewable while running or syncing). Important note: restoring a session cannot be undone — the current session will be completely replaced; and if the profile is deleted, all of its session history is also lost.

3. Can a sub-account upgrade/renew its own package independently, or does it have to go through the main account?

A sub-account renews along with the main account and does not have its own independent package while it remains a sub-account. If the main account is not renewed on time, the sub-account will be locked and will require a renewal payment (through the main account) to unlock. If additional sub-accounts are needed beyond the free allotment included in the package, the main account can create additional ones and pay based on the number of days remaining on the main account. A sub-account can only have an independent package if it is converted into a Share account, in which case it is required to register for its own separate package.

4. Can Automation run when the computer's screen is off / the app is closed?

For an automation script to run, your computer must be powered on. The system will not be able to run the script if you close the Hidemyacc application.

5. Is Hidemyacc's free proxy stable enough for long-term use?

Hidemyacc's free proxy is a datacenter proxy shared among multiple users. You can use the free proxy to spoof your IP address and access websites quickly. If you want to spoof your IP for warming up accounts, you should use your own proxy.
